Current research

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Tracking and Society, where I engage with questions related to the relationship between people and institutions mediated by digital technologies using various qualitative, quantitative, and computational methods. Currently, I am working on two projects:

Platform Intelligence in News: An interdisciplinary and practice-based project about the adoption of natural language processing and recommender systems in the news domain. As part of a larger setup, I examine how recommender systems affect public agenda-setting and how recommender systems align with audience expectations of the news.

Privacy Lost: A project examining the historical development of third-party trackers across geographical domains using internet excavation methods.
